Attwells Solicitors are set to open a new office in March 2019 in the former North Hill Surgery premises.
The site in the town centre being left by the surgery will now see new and fresh investment by Attwells, in a real boost to the local economy. The new office will also offer employment opportunities to Colchester residents and a return home for many of Attwells’ staff members.
Local lad Lloyd Clarke, Partner at Attwells Solicitors will be overseeing the move. Lloyd, former Philip Morant School pupil and Essex University student joined Attwells Solicitors in 2009 to undertake his training contract. Since qualification, he has moved up the firm and now heads up the Employment and Health & Social Care team at Attwells.

Lloyd is part of the Attwells team recognised last month as the best property law firm in Suffolk, and the second best property law firm in East Anglia at the ESTA awards (voted for by clients) held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London and hosted by Phil Spencer.
As part of the Colchester office acquisition, many staff members who already live in the town will be moving back home to the new Colchester office. These lawyers have all benefited from Attwells strong focus on career progression, mirroring Lloyd Clarke’s journey.
