Keep Cyber Safe

We take cyber security very seriously and are proud to have been awarded the Cyber Essentials accreditation.

We will work with you to ensure that together we minimise the risks, but we need your help.

Keep Cyber Safe

There are some other easy ways to keep safe:-

  • Make sure you have up-to-date virus and malware software on EVERY device you might use. Laptops, smartphones, tablets, kindle fire, etc
  • Do not use public WiFi when accessing online banking. Coffee shop WiFi is prone to abuse. Install a Virtual Private Network if you will be using public wifi.
  • Criminals use social media to identify when you might be making or receiving a payment and will attempt to intercept the payment. Please avoid posting updates on social media.

Phone Us

Finally, if you receive anything suspicious from any source in relation to your home move please telephone us immediately. Be patient with us as we will ask you to identify yourself to ensure your details are protected

The press is full of reports that home buyers have lost thousands because criminals have posed as the Law Firm and convinced the buyer to send their deposit to a different account. There is a real and genuine risk that it could happen to you, so be vigilant.

If something does not seem quite right it probably isn’t so do double-check.
