Mind The Gap – Asking & Selling Prices

Yesterday reports of a widening gap between asking prices and selling prices were broadcast and published across the media.

Although it’s fair to say residents or those seeking to move to the St. John’s Wood area would notice a gap, our data research has revealed this is not the case in Ipswich or Colchester, with the selling price being slightly higher than the asking price.

Our data research reveals that per square foot both Ipswich and Colchester bucked the national trend.

The selling price in the UK major cities was on average 3.9% below the asking price from January to March this year.
