Juliet Burtrand

Juliet studied law at the University of Hull before completing her Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin University in 2013 with distinction. She joined Attwells in 2013 and qualified as a solicitor in 2016.

Since starting a family, Juliet has focused her career on compliance and now leads this function across the firm.

Outside work, she enjoys reading, playing games—especially Cluedo and Guess Who—with her children, and spending time with her family and their dog. She also enjoys walks and exploring the local area.

As Head of Compliance and a Board member, Juliet ensures Attwells meets all regulatory and national requirements, including AML, GDPR, and internal policies.

She oversees risk management and promotes a strong culture of compliance across the firm.

Juliet also line manages the Head of Learning and Development and helps shape the firm’s strategy for staff training and professional development, ensuring that learning and compliance are fully integrated into the firm’s culture.
