At Attwells Solicitors, we pride ourselves on our community involvement and commitment to equal justice for all. The Ipswich Legal Walk 2023, a cornerstone event in the Suffolk legal calendar, was a resounding success, thanks to the unity and solidarity of the legal community and the generous contributions of supporters. Attwells Solicitors is proud to have played a part in this significant achievement by donating and taking part in the raffle which was held after the 10km walk.
Hosted by the Suffolk Law Centre, the annual Legal Walk focuses on raising funds to ensure that free legal advice and support remain accessible to those unable to afford it. The 10-kilometre walk, which took place on Tuesday 11 July 2023, began at Christchurch Park Ipswich and culminated at The Woolpack pub where a raffle was held.
An incredible £12,000 in donations for the Access to Justice Foundation was raised. This significant sum is a testament to the power of unity and shared commitment towards ensuring equal access to justice for all. Every penny will go directly towards supporting the invaluable work carried out by the Suffolk Law Centre, enabling them to continue providing vital legal support to our community.
However, the Ipswich Legal Walk is about more than raising funds. It is also about raising awareness of the importance of access to justice for everyone. It is about being there for those in need and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to justice. Looking back at the event, we are reminded of the strength of community and the remarkable things we can achieve when we come together.
