With the current economy facing high inflation, the property market has not suffered as a result. Interest rates have consecutively increased alongside the cost of living. More and more people are relying on mortgage debt to purchase property. Despite the latter concerns, sellers and buyers are still continuing to transact at greater speed.

New data has revealed the average time taken to sell a home (from a property first being listed for sale to completion) – has decreased by 44 days within the last year. On average it has taken 250 days to sell a home compared to 294 days the year earlier.

At Attwells Solicitors, we understand the necessity to exchange as soon as possible whilst ensuring thorough due diligence of the work has been carried out. Recently, we managed to exchange on a transaction within 2.5 weeks of receiving the draft contract pack.
